Although it's next door to Palm Springs' most popular gay dance club, Streetbar couldn't be more different in atmosphere or clientele. Of course, hoppers stop here for a pre-Hunters drink at times, but mostly the stools are occupied by those who don't give them up for hours (save a few restroom trips between stiff drinks). Drag and similar events take place at times, but this place largely benefits from its location in the heart of (though not as much a part of) the action.

his bar sucks

Its really sad whebn you walk in to a bar with 2 lesbian friends and you get looked down own from patrons and the bartender this is the first tim I have been in this city or this bar, and so disrespectful,of myself my lover and my lesbian friends. It is really sad whenh you have suck a large gay population that you disrespect yhe ones that visit and future visitors.

When I visited over Pride 09 I had the funnest time! The "Porch Pussies" that hang out on the patio were a chatty bunch and very friendly to an out-of-towner. The owner, Dick, was really sweet too. Good music too.

A great gay bar to meet older local and visiting men! I had lots of fun!! Lots of good looking and frisky old men!! MMMMMMM
